white swimsuit: bad idea?

I'm still on the search for a swimsuit or two for my vacation. I saw a lot of cute white ones and thought that might be fun since we're considering this to be out honeymoon (we didn't take one right away). Is white a super bad idea though? I'm scared that it would be see-through when it gets wet? or am I just paranoid?

whenever i see someone wearing a white bathing suit, it always looks so glamorous but when it comes to buying one i don't know that i could.  i would be nervous about see throughness and getting it dirty.  maybe if you found one with a good thick lining.

I hear you should only wear them for tanning.  I don't know if lining would help either.  I think it would be see through no matter what.

I have two white bathing suits that I've worn frequently. One was from H&M and was plain white, the other is patterned from Calvin Klein. Neither one is see-through at all and I love how they look when I have a tan. I say go for it, as long as the brand is reliable so it won't be see-through when wet.

i have 2 and they're not see thru at all. mine are both by Vix if that helps. i love them!

i have white suit too and i love it. especially if it's lined, i dont think you'll have a prob with it being see-through.

I LOVE white bathing suits, as long as they don't look like plain underwear. Go for something really hot.

I know you didn't ask for ideas, but I couldn't resist.

IMO....white looks best against darker tones....Thank God I dont have to tan!


I say go for it.....but I do not recommend rolling around in the sand.
