The one thing that I don't get is, how did the police know that Seth set fire to the Newport Group building. The cops show and all of a sudden it's, "they think Seth caused a fire at the Newport Group." It all just happened a bit fast.

I was a bit disappointed and in two weeks the season finale looks cheesy...threating to kill of a character???

I think next season is going to be crappy, but it will be interesting to see what they do with the whole college thing.

Yeah, I agree. The Marissa/Caitlin scenes were dumb and pointless. It seemed like just an excuse to show Caitlin or something.

I have to say, the Cohen family "moment" was kind of touching. I don't think the whole pot thing really fits Seth's character. I find it hard to believe that he would smoke pot ... and by himself?? You'd think he would do it with some friends or something.

Lately, I just watch to see what Summer and Marissa are wearing and to listen for good music!!

I am guessing that they assumed it was Seth because he was the last person at Sandy's office...that's what I'm guessing, but agree nunzi - it was so all of a sudden!

oh, I thought last night's was pretty good. I thought the whole Ryan story line was a bore. But I liked how Seth stood up against Sandy. I like how more things are out in the open. And I like that Sandy turned over all evidence.

I don't know how Ryan will get away with the car thing, when he left the Cohens' car parked outside of the robbed house, and a neighbor saw him sitting there earlier in the day. And she checked out Volochek, so she'll probably remember him if shown his picture by a police officer. But maybe I should refrain from thinking about this logically -- it is The OC, after all!

Who do you all think might die? My guess is Julie Cooper, which I really hope isn't the case. She's such a fun character.

I think exactly like you! I was like there is no way he will get away with it. He would be better off to say Volchek forced him and he had to (pointed gun at him or whatever- i mean he could lie). Anyway, yet again it is the glorious life of fake tv so who knows what will happen.

I have heard that Mischa is wanting off the show so it will be her who dies. I do think though that it if it is her the show won't be the same. Actually, if any of the main characters die it won't be the same. Not that it has been the same this season as past season, but thats another issue....

I am reporting the news below on tonight's E! News at 7 pm. I truly believe Mischa Barton will not be a series regular next season on the OC next season, regardless of whether she is the one being killed off. Three reliable sources have confirmed it.

MISCHA BARTON IS LEAVING 'THE O.C.' THAT'S WHAT SOURCES CONNECTED TO THE SHOW TELL ME, THAT SHE MAY APPEAR AS A GUEST STAR NEXT SEASON, BUT WILL *NOT BE A SERIES REGULAR. A REP FOR FOX SAYS HE, QUOTE, "Can't confirm or deny, but viewers will have to tune in to find out on May 18." IN THE MEANTIME, I CAN TELL YOU WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY THAT A MAJOR CHARACTER *IS BEING KILLED OFF IN THAT FINALE. IT COULD BE MARISSA, IT COULD BE ANOTHER 'OC' STAPLE. I hate to say this because it is my favorite show ever, but based on this hype I really think next season is going to suck. It's just not the same show anymore and I think it will only get worse.

This is/was such a guilty pleasure for me.

Whoa, that will be a big change! I can't say I'm a big Marissa fan -- her storylines usually annoy and/or bore me -- but that will be such a fundamental change in the show. I wonder what else she's going to do? She hasn't really had any other projects outside of The OC, has she? I remember Mischa Barton shot a movie with Hayden Christiansen but it hasn't been released yet, and they made it last summer. The rest of the three "core" have all had other movie work.
