What to wear under?

I have and love this shirtdress but I've only wore it over jeans so far and would love to wear it as just a sundress but it's pretty sheer. What would you wear under it to make it less see through.


Also any other outfit ideas/ways to wear it would be great! TIA!!

i always suggest the American Apparel shirtdresses as something to wear under.. or you could just wear a normal slip if you wanted

i also think it would be cute with a big belt instead of the sash, or, when it's cooler, with a l/s shirt underneath and the sleeves rolled up

I'd just do a simple white cotton slip dress of some kind, like this:



VS has lots to choose from, and they all come in white.

me? I would just wear skin-tone boy shorts or bikini underwear and a skin-tone bra...

Me too...I have a few sets of nude underwear for this exact purpose...it will be wonderful in 90 degree weather.


As a cool alternative? I'd do a vintage slip in a pretty color, open up the top buttons so you can see the lace detailing and (you're tall enough to pull this off, I think) have lace detail peeking out from the bottom.

I also agree with nude undies, but I absolutely LOVE this idea from Lilykind.
