Being someone who lives in black, olive and browns, i find myself strangely attracted lately to ORANGE. I really like the sweater (it looks cheery to me) but if you aren't normally a brights person it may take some getting used to. The May issue of InStyle issue did a section on candy colors being the new trend so I would imagine that a number of prints will appear that will work with the sweater. The color actually reminds me of a 50/50 ice cream bar but it could just be my monitor? Gray, especially charcoal or medium dark gray with orange is great as suggested....tones the overall look down alot. It does look like something cozy to reach for on a down day :)
IMO it looks a LOT better in orange than it would in say, ivory, because it's so unexpected. What matters most is if you're comfortable with it and if you're not, don't get it.
I orange, maybe because so few people wear it and the ones that wear it well always exude crazy amounts of style, confidence, and all other things wonderful.
i usually hate orange but the sweater is kind of attracting. it looks a little on the bright side but i would still wear it. spring is here...bright is nice for spring.
