If you're going to interview as an associate I think you would be wise to wear Old Navy clothes, making sure to do as creative and non-skimpy an outfit as possible. This way the interviewer can see how well you would fit into the store and see how well you could sell their clothes.
If your going to interview for a management position I would wear a pant or skirt suit. And wear an old navy top for the blouse.
I'm applying for an associate. The problem is I don't have much old navy clothes. I have a lot of Gap clothes. Do you think it is ok if I showed up in Gap clothing?
I think Gap would be fine. They have a similar style and are owned by the same co. anyway right? I would do maybe a pair of khackis (sp) and a tucked in button down shirt with a belt. Polished, but a little more on the casual side.

yup, they are owned my the same company.. The outfit you suggested was what I had in mind. I know which shirt I want to use. just need to buy the pants.
I hope I get the job. If I do I get an employee discount at ON, GAP and BR. YAY!
