outfit challenge? ***Updated with pictures***

Im driving back home 2hours away to go out to dinner for my dads bday and my grandmothers retirement, we are going to a very upscale restaurant, and i have nothing to wear.  And whatever i wear to class on friday is what i have to wear for dinner.  Help?

I have a black bubble skirt that i have been dying to wear, so id like to incorporate that somehow, although the high is only suppose to be 65, so im worried id be too cold wearing that? So what do you think? If i could get some ideas for bubble skirt or other outfits all together would be great!

 Day outfit:

For Night:

Please be as harsh as possible, im really desperate and trying to come up with things i already own, and if this outfit totally sucks im completely fine with that, or any other suggestions on how to make it better would be so helpful!

Totally doable!  You might be a tad chilly in your bubble skirt in the evening, but unless you're going to be outside more than car-restaraunt-car-home I don't think it would be a big deal.

By Day:

Bubble skirt, flats/wedges, pretty cami/top, blazer/jacket

  Knit Bubble Skirt

By Night:

Ditch the flats for strappy sandals, swap the jacket for a cute cardi, and trade your small earrings in for something fancier

Knit Bubble Skirt

I think it looks cute but I think it's too casual for me if I was going to an upscale restaurant. Do you happen to have long sleeve lacey top? Something like that could definitely make it more dressy.

(this is a maternity top but I'm pretty sure it can work)

A denim jacket would make it look casual during the day.

I agree with exsupahero that it's a little casual for a nice dinner.  Do you have a blouse of some kind that you could swap the sweater for?

Do you have a s/s, 3/4 sleeve or l/s Anthro or Anthro-esque blouse with distinctive detailing you can wear? Or maybe a nicer sweater with more detailing. Your outfit is cute but I think it's not formal enough for dinner at a nice restaurant.

I'd wear flats or converse chucks for day and strappy heels for night.

I like some of these...maybe you can use them as a jumping point.

flower shadow wrapidyll v-neckmarny silken cardigan(have a lace trim cami peeking out the top.)

Wow, I love the outfit you put together. If anything I agree w/ Lilykind, change to some sexy strappy heels for the dinner and I think that will instantly take the outfit from day to night.
