I was told about 3 days for daytime driving, a few more days for night time, so your eyes wouldn't be strained while healing.

However, I left the office being able to see better than before (still blurry), the next morning, I was 20/20 and a week later, I was 20/15.

They just tell you to err on the side of caution because it is surgery.

My boyfriend just had it done 2 mos. ago and honestly, he could see fine to drive the very next day. The next day they told him he had 20/20 vision and now he has 20/15.

He didn't drive at night for a few though because your eyes will be sensitive to the lights. During the day - be sure to wear the sunglasses they give you for about a week.
