I bought this dress today for a law school graduation event but I'm at a loss for shoes to match. The sash around the waist is navy but I've managed to go this long without ever having to purchase navy shoes :) Any ideas for shoes that would match well? I'm on a bit of a budget so any suggestions should hover around the $50 range ($100 maximum for a truly amazing pair).
A beautiful dress! I don't think you necessarily need to do navy. Something yellow or purple would be lovely, you could do brown, or something with multiple colors. Be right back with some options!

How dressed up are you wanting to make it? Daytime or evening event? I'm thinking a sandal with some gold/metallic accent would be cute.

I think if you go with something multi-color, that would be good. All Vigotti at zappos.com Madeline at zappos.com Solids could work, also: Nicole @ zappos.com Steven @ zappos.com (fabulous color!) Make sure you click the zappos ad at the top of this page to go to their site! Carlos Santana at zappos. Madeline at zappos. I think these would be adorable.
Thank you everyone for your responses. I'm new to this board but am amazed at the community you have here. Everyone is so helpful and so stylish-- I can't decide if I should be happy that I found such a great place or worried that I have a site to distract me during Bar preparation :)
The event is semi-dressy; I expect to see a wide-range of attire there. I always like to err on the dressier side if I'm unsure.
Sisurunner: Those strappy gold shoes are so cute-- I actually have a pair that is very similar. It never occurred to me that gold shoes would match but that could be quite pretty. And if I wore those, I would save some money :)
kmd: I really love that red/orange pair-- those are darling! I will definitely have to look into those.
Elle: I especially love that yellow pair and the brown flowered pair at the top. Those are so cute-- more options to consider!
I also have this pair which was a gift from my brother (after he saw me salivating over them online). I've only worn them once and have been looking for an occasion to trot them out again. Would these look good with the dress? You can tell me if they would be hideous-- I still have a hard time wrapping my mind around complementary colors and not being so obsessed with matching things perfectly.

I love those Christian Lacroix ones! I think they would look beautiful with the dress. you can always tie in the green with jewelry as well - green/blue jewelry would look really pretty and tie it all together.

Hmm...if I wear the green shoes, I can take the money I would have spent on shoes and spend it on jewelry and a clutch instead. Detroit--I love that clutch above. That is beautiful! Thanks for all the suggestions ladies :)

The dress came today from Anthropologie and I just wanted to review it for anyone else who might be interested in it. It is SO lovely. Although it looks white in the picture, it is more of a creamy ivory color. Additionally, the eyelet design is much more intricate than it looks. The sash is heavy and is also removable which I love because you can completely change the look of the dress depending on what sash/belt you use. It fits very true to size and it definitely needs a good steaming as it arrived a bit rumpled. Added bonus-- it looks nice with the green shoes.
