NOOOOOO! That is so awful. How did they get out? Did they run out the door or did they find a secret passage or something? I'm so sorry

Awww I hate to hear that. My kittie is like a kid to me and I freak if she gets out even though she just runs back inside. You said you just moved- maybe you could check around where you used to live and I would even ask your neighbors if they have seen them. Once my friend's cat got out and a week or two later we found him around the block....someone thought he was a stray and took him inside. I hope yours come back soon.

Oh, I'm so sorry.  I know you're worried sick!  Last summer, my shy indoor cat got out and was gone for 2 weeks!  Usually when she would get out she'd stay on the porch or maybe the front yard, so when we couldn't find her after a few days, I thought the worst.  Then, one morning, there she was!  Don't give up hope!

have you considered posting some "missing" signs around the neighborhood?  you never know, someone could be feeding him. plus, if he's not familiar with the new place, he might not know how to find his way back.

I had a dog at one time, and when we moved he got out and was missing. we went to our old house on the other side of town to see if he showed up there.  There he was - sitting on the front porch... so, if you're living in the same vicinity, you might want to check your old place.

Please please please check the Humane League and SPCA too. Someone could have brought him in and he could be waiting there for you to pick him up!!!!

that's an excellent suggestion - and if he's not at either one, leave a picture of him and your contact information just in case he shows up.

I

This is a great idea - we fed someone's cat for a while & he kept showing up - I wish we had known where he belonged. Joycebaby's suggestion is a good one because I imagine that is where the cat we were feeding ended up....

I hope your baby turns up! Cats are so independent and smart, so I'm hopeful he'll turn up.

oh no! Fingers crossed here. I third (or fourth?) the suggestion to post signs and call the local shelters.

Poor kitty! I hope he comes back!! I have two cats, and I would be so upset if I lost them.
