i'm scared it's going to make me look pregnant. i tried on this C&C top, and i think it's pretty flattering and has the same shape. i would love to get a sleeveless and less expensive version.

i have this top in teal and orange and love it...it doesn't make me look pregnant but i just have to make sure i wear it with more fitted pants...not gauchos or a flowy skirt....otherwise it's too much "looseness"
I have the long sleeved version of that ON top in chocolate brown -- the shape is actually identical to the C&C one you posted - and I love it! I agree with LoMish, I just wear more fitted pants with it.
perfect. isn't there a poll about buying in multiples? you can add me to the group with these tops!
one more question. did they have a ton at the store, or do you think it's better to just buy them online? it kills me to pay sales tax AND shipping, but if the stores don't have a wide variety, i might as well save the $3.50 train ride and purchase them online.

I have the long sleeve one and love the way it fits. I tried on the s/s version though and didn't feel it at all. There was way too much material on the lower half for me. Maybe I'm just not used to the silouette but it didn't really show my waist at all. There are a lot in stores though if you want to check it out.

i'm not seeing a long sleeve one. is there a link or are they just in the stores? sorry for all the questions.

Gulp....bought it in tangerine, olive, brown and black and then went back to get an extra black. I like it with skinny jeans, flats or flip flops. It also looks cute with fitted, cuffed long shorts and wedges.
There really isn't a lot of excess material under the empire seam, it doesn't balloon out or anything. The style isn't meant to showcase the waist but more the bodice, which has a great cut. It gives a nice outline for the upper chest (show off pretty summer jewelry!) and arms and there's no bra strap show.
This is a definite basic alternative tee for my summer, a new siloutte. I'd snap up what you can if you like it. The stores out in Los Angeles are still fully stocked, I think the fear of looking pregnant is scaring buyers but it's one of those sleepers worth at least trying out.
