Collette- ever since i heard Chicago by Sufjan Stevens on my friend's Myspace page, i've been secretly jealous that i didn't put it on there first.

i have become this single-minded weirdo and have been rotating only through the new Neko Case (Fox Confessor Brings the Flood), and all Neko's previous cds that i've gotten from the library.  oh yeah, and a recording of her live show a few weeks ago that i downloaded from NPR.  like i said, i'm obsessed.  but it's good stuff!!

I mostly listen to albums instead of particular songs, but here are my most recent obsessions:

Madonna - Confessions on a Dance Floor

Jack Johnson - On & On

Fall Out Boy - Take This to Your Grave

Panic! At the Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out

One Tree Hill Volume 2 - I promise it's really good even though the show is way too dramatic and stuff

The Cardigans - Super Extra Gravity

The songs on my mp3 are for working out only so they're not a true reflection of my musical tastes.  So I'll post what I listen to at work and in the car :)

What I've been listening to recently (albums, not individual songs):  David Gray-Life in Slow Motion (and every other album he's made), Keane-Hopes and Fears, Frou Frou-Details, No Doubt's Greatest Hits

I just added Paul Oakenfold's Faster Kill Pussycat to my workout mix - it's the one that features Brittany Murphy singing and I like the beat for running.

Deep Red Bells.  it is the best.  i would venture to say that Fox Confessor and Blacklisted are a bit better than the rest, but there's always gem here and there.  Furnace Room Lullaby's pretty good, esp. if you can get it from the library and preview it for free, right?
