I've been trying to figure out how to get from Ft. Lauderdale airport to Miami Beach (going on Thurs) and its stressing me out... anyone familiar with this route?

we took the train .. which you can get a shuttle from FLL airport .. to miami airport, and then took a cab to our hotel in south beach

DH is from Ft. Lauderdale.  He says you should be able to take the commuter train.  The website is www.tri-rail.com.

Our public transportation kind is lacking down here. Tri-Rail is an option but sometimes it does not like to run on schedule, just to forewarn you. So have an alternative just in case.
