Favorite wedges??
Permalink Closed

I've been fruitlessly searching for wedge sandals that are comfy to walk in (for hours) yet cute. I was wondering if any of you have some favorites that you could recommend?? Any color will do!

not for sure how you feel about payless shoes but  I was really surprised  these are really comfortable. These also come in white and black. I have these in the orange color and  have worn them to work  Iam on my feet alot and they did not hurt my feet.

Our wonderful Elle  has these and I know she has raved on them. They also come in white

These:

I wore them for two days in a row, walking for several hours (GA aquarium and also walking around a small tourist-y town in N. GA) and my feet never hurt from them. The day at the aquarium was also their first wearing, so no break-in time was needed.

These are going to be my go-to shoes for this summer! And BTW they look much cuter on than in the pic.

As much as I can't believe I'm saying it, those Payless wedges are SO comfortable. I struggled through 6 hours of outlet shopping this weekend in gorgeous, PAINFUL Michael Kors. The next day I "borrowed" DD's orange Payless wedges and went shopping for almost 7 hours with no pain. Unbelievable...I wish that style was in leather somewhere.

I also bought DD the Target ones pictured to try out for her semi-formal. Again, VERY comfortable (they sort of have a molded foot base) but the braiding comes over the side of the shoe and makes it look wide, IMO.

It seems that if the wedges are the platform type, they are more comfortable. The platform doesn't have to be extreme but any extra between the ball of the foot and the street seems to help.  I would love to hear of a comfortable, cute wedge that I wouldn't want to throw across the room after 3 or 4 hours!

I have these, but in black, and they are very comfy. I wore them all day shopping yesterday.

They're Kenneth Cole Reaction, but I don't think they're in stores anymore. But I'd imagine something of a similar design would also be comfy.
