Bare Escentuals foundation?

i.d. bareMinerals Foundation - SPF 15 Sunscreen Does anybody use this stuff?  I was wondering if it is as good as they say it is.  I like the idea of using powder with spf and making my face look flawless.   I currently use Covergirl liquid makeup where I need it (nose, chin, eyes) and powder all over, but if there is something better...

Yes, I am a fan of this product. It is a lot easier to use than liquid foundation, and has a good staying power. I recommend it if you use foundation a lot because it's so easy to use and although it's not miracle product, I think this is the best way to wear foundation.

I have to say...I really do think it's the best foundation at its price point. Every other foundation I've ever tried and liked has been at least $10 - $15 more for less product than the BE.

I've been wearing it a lot lately because my skin has been acting up and while I won't claim miracles, most people would never know I have major problem skin (except under the sick flourescent lighting at work . I use a full face dusting of the foundation, some light Kanebo concealer over the problem spots, the BE Mineral Veil over it, and then a touch of BE Warmth.

My mother, grandmother, two aunts and two cousins all swear by this stuff.  I tried it a while back but I felt like it settled into my pores and made them look larger!  I was told by my family I was using too much product that was why.  After seeing how great they looked I was inspired to buy the starter kit again at Sephora and I'm going to give it another try...it takes some practice on the application.

the "big pores" problem is truly a problem with this product if you aren't careful. As long as you spend the time to learn to get it right, it's wonderful. I've never been able to cover my circles and not look cakey, until this stuff.

i've gone back and forth this product a lot. sometimes i feel that the "skin" look isn't there with BE and it's hard to get a color match. but i do have to say it definitely has its pros. it stays on for hours and doesn't irritate skin. i use this when i feel that my skin is extra sensitive or i feel a breakout coming on.

you can mix some BE with a moisturizer and create your own tinted moisturizer.

just use very little. it's very easy to over do it with the product.

I liked this at first, but the more I use it, the more I feel like it sits on top of my skin. It feels like I have a veil over my face when I use this. I just don't like it.

I'm not crazy about it.  I've tried putting on less, but I feel like it looks like too much makeup on my face.  It kind of reminds me of theatrical makeup.

I've had better luck with the Philosophy Supernatural mineral powder.  I love the applicator, too.  If you can try it out, you might want to compare the two.  I think the Philosophy kind is more expensive, though.

So I've been wearing this a week or two now and I really like it this time.  I use the lotion first and the veil underneath everything else.  When I put the veil on top it seems to make my pores show up more.

The big change is now in the starter kit you get the concealer brush which is AWESOME.  I don't put much of the make up all over my face but I really am able to use the concealer brush to cover spots...and I think overall it looks better than the concelaer/pressed powder look I used to use.

I'm also trying the laughter blush and some of the eye colors.

i loooove this foundation.  i love almost all of BE products.  the foundation is so easy to blend and never looks unatural.  i would say that you should try ordering a shade lighter than what looks like it matches if you are ordering from sephora.  the colors look pretty light on their site, but are a little darker and warmer in person.

I LOVE this stuff!  It definitely took me a while - I realized I had the wrong shade (Medium, whereas I needed the Medium Beige). Also, you have to learn to not use as much as you think you would.  I get compliments all the time when I wear this - like i look so healthy, opr my skin looks so good.  I have exema/psoriasis/dermatitis/allergies, etc, so the fact that I have finally found a powder/foundation that is good on my sensitive skin and feels good is amazing!

I couldn't ever wear this because my skin does not like powder alone.  I'm not sure why but I always itch and turn red once I take powder off.  Its worth a try though but definetly have a makeover at sephora and wear it all day before you buy.  I'm glad I didn't buy it because sure enough I was itching and red by the end of the day.
