Well, it was my first time at an Anthropologie store, so I guess I went a little crazy. Quite a few of these things were on sale, though, and all of the sale items were an additional 30% off. I figured it out and I saved about $250 when I compared the full prices to what I paid! I also bought a cute short sleeve wrap sweater in a light sage grean to throw over tanks and dresses this spring and a cute tank top that I can't seem to find on the website.-- Edited by lilmonkeyj at 10:29, 2006-04-23
I am going to anthropologie in a couple of weeks for only the 2nd time. The first time I was in a rush and just returning an online order. Are their in store sales better than online?
In-store sales are generally good (usually at least 50% off the orig. price) and they get better if no one sees the potential in something. I've gotten lots of things at Anthro that have been around 75% off the reg. price.
I think the sales must be better in the store. The green skirt I got wasn't even on sale on the website and I got it for $39.95 with an additional 30% off (or @ $28) . On the website, it's still listed as $88.
I got a bunch of cheap stuff this weekend and last week. I'm trying to be good! From Old Navy. I also got a white halter and black skirt that aren't on the site. Finally bit the bullet and ordered a kimono top on ebay. LOVE it! The fit is totally perfect. These should come today! Plus some jewelry from Target.
I think you are gonna love the shoes. Mine came a few days ago and the color was PERFECT!
