This is a spinoff from my other post. I need COMFORTABLE shoe to wear with this outfit to the KY Oaks (horse race). I'll be doing lots of walking. Here are some I am thinking may work. Please post comments, suggestions, reviews of the shoes, etc.
i say no to 5 & 6 right off - you need to get out of br! i think 1 & 2 are too heavy for the outfit - you need an open toe, at least. i think my first choice would be 9, but you're probably right, i bet they'd be painful. so i'm going to say 8. are they kenzie? i have the tan ones on right now, and they're not killing me after 8 hours. i've worn them a few times now and i really like them, though if i'm standing/walking a lot the ball of my feet will start to hurt after a while.
hth!

I vote for 5 or 7 - I dont' know why, but 2 is wrong for the Oaks. It's a cute shoe, but it just looks northern to me with that outfit and I know that makes no sense, but it DOES. God, I miss Kentucky this time of year - have a great time!
I don't know, I jsut looked at it again and 2 could work - I really like the white with the yellow and blue. But I've noticed that after 2 years, my tastes are subtly different now - northernized somehow (and I wear less mascara, too) - either way, it's an adorable outfit and you're going to look completely darling, as always!
I just wanted to say that, I know you said you'll be doing a lot of walking, but I wanted to reiterate that fact and say you should really make sure that your shoes are extra comfortable and that you have bandaids or something in your purse in case an unbearable blister comes up. I live in Louisville and have been to the Oaks and to the Derby, my feet always hate me at the end of the day, and I see plenty of other ladies feeling the same way as they depart.
Have fun!

I like the idea of green shoes with that outfit, but I think #7 is a bit too heavy for the outfit. I also think light blue shoes would look good with it. Dark blue is a little too matchy for me, but that is just my opinion. Here are two other options.
