some famous reporters off the top of my head: Carl Bernstein/Bob Woodward, Anna Quindlen, Maureen Dowd, Mike Royko, Robert Capa (photog), Christiane Amanpour, Geraldo Rivera. If you want infamous, you can also add Stephen Glass, Jayson Blair et al.
