to start with, the color isn't as bright as in the picture. the stripes are much more muted in real life, but it still is quite pretty. however, they gave me a blister on the outside of my heel on my right foot and i haven't been able to wear them since. im waiting for the blister scab to fall off (lovely, eh?) and im going to try them again. everywhere else on the shoe is comfortable, no smushing of the toes, no rubbing along the top of my foot, relatively good support. they are slighty slippy on the bottom but should be okay with more wear on concrete/pavement. they are a keeper, even if they did give me a blister. they are so cute im gonna keep trying. oh, and i ordered them from alloy with no problems, i got them in my correct size (8).
second:
these are my new favorite shoe and ive gotten so many compliments on them from classmates. they truly are a ballet slipper shoe! the first time i wore them outside my house i felt a bit odd, like "why am i wearing slippers outside? are people looking at me wondering why im wearing slippers?" but i got over that pretty quickly. they pinched my toes a little bit on the first day but loosened up quite nicely and now just slide on and off. the yellow is perfectly bright but not blinding and the leather is pretty smooth. however, they are super slippy on the bottom and will need some roughening up on the pavement if you don't want to slip and fall! ive worn them with all sorts of outfits too...most that didn't have yellow in them! go me, im a color dare devil! anyway, they are fantastic and come in a couple different colors (check freepeople and urban). i ordered them from freepeople with no problems and got my correct size (8).
hope that helps somebody out there!
