So I often find myself buying things that are not on my wishlist, simply because I have a good code (like 25% off). For some reason, I have a hard time buying things at retail without some sort of discount, but then I end up with things that are close to what I want, when what I really want would only be like $15 more. Am I weird?? (It's ok if you say yes ) Do other people do this?
ETA: I most often have this problem with Bluefly. When I enter the contests and get the free shipping or 10% off codes, I feel like I need to buy something from there.

Can I just say that I'm glad this is your problem because when I saw this thread I thought it said "coke addiction"? And all in all a CODE addiction is much better. Just a little perspective!
I go through this with grocery coupons. It has taken me a while but I will throw them away if I don't need the item - be strong - you can break the cycle!

Yes. Totally. I have it bad. Just online codes, though. For some reason IRL sales don't blind me as much as online sales do. Its easier to fantasize about something that you can only see online.
