As you girls may remember, we have been trying to buy a house since October.. Brief recap: We bought one in November and were supposed to settle in Feb. We found out the day before settlement that the house we were buying was in forclosure and the seller hadn't told anyone. We lost that house and have been fighting with the seller's bank for 2 months trying to get them to agree to take a loss on the house and sell it to us before the scheduled Sheriff's sale in July. In the meantime, we sold our house and must be out before June.


Well, we really can't afford to wait around any longer for our first choice house. We are running out of time and must buy something that we can get into before June as to not inconvenience the buyers of our old house.


So, we got this!

Settlement is in June.. It is 2 BR, 2.5 BATH.. 2000 sq ft, 1 car garage, And has that AMAZING loft I had mentioned in a previous post, a while back. The best news is: the day before we put in our offer, the builder dropped the price of the house by $15K!!!


We get to meet with the builder next week to design our kitchen and pick flooring and everything. It is going to be so fun! And since it is new construction, it will not need a thing done to it once we get in there!


I really hope this is going to be the end of a rough year for us!
