hybrid cars?

does anyone have any experience with hybrids, good or bad? I am looking into the Honda Civic hybrid but just wanted to get some feedback...


also, is it worth it to get a hybrid if you don't drive a ton? i won't be driving to work next year very often(walk or bus) so one dealer told me that while hybrids are more "green" unless i drive it a lot, I won't save any money in the long run

Ah! I was just reading about hybrids today... I'll find the articles. As for a hybrid not being a better deal, I disagree. The article I read basically said that yes, they cost more but you get a huge deduction on your taxes, the parts last longer, the maintenance is done less often, and you get much better gas mileage than regular cars.


But hold on, let me find the articles and you can decide for yourself.
