Poor baby - she has crawled into every little space she can find - this morning it is under covers. She's still pretty pitiful, terribly needy, but doing well. Thanks ladies for your kind words! That jingle ball is her favorite toy - she perks up when she sees it, but hasn't run after it yet. She did start purring again this morning so that made me feel better.....

i don't think i ever told you this but (since you live nearby) i was thinking about adopting one of your kittens when you had them, it was around the time i was looking anyway - i even saw your craigslist post!  i wanted zeus, but you said you were keeping her, and it ruined me for the other kitties... lol


i ended up going to the SPCA and getting a couple there - one of them reminds me of your zeus - tiny, black, needy and scaredy-cat!  and her birthday is april 17th too :)


our kitties turn one on tax day this year, yuck!


anyway, i know how you feel - but looks like she's on the road to recovery! :)

TLL, She had her spay on Tuesday.

Ok, I got pm'd & asked for a few more pictures, I'm more than happy to oblige.....
sitting in the window with our huge cat chicken -see her little shaved belly?


A few weeks ago she got curious & climbed through the blinds. Silly!


She hates being held unless it's her idea, DH love to aggrivate her by...well, holding her. Here he was BARELY holding her ears making her the most unhappy cat in the universe. I fussed at him but couldn't resist grabbing the camera ("That's mean! Let me get a picture")


Ok, that's it I swear.

zeus looks like a chickenlet! or a chicklet?


I love the aggravated picture - lol - poooor kitty!


we (my family) used to have a cat named dolly.  dolly was found as a kitten crying under my parents' bedroom window one morning. half of her tail had been broken off and she was a little wreck. we took her in, of course.  she always hated being held, and I would give her "force lovins" she eventually I think learned to like it - it was good for her :) she had all kinds of emotional problems, like suddenly freaking out over nothing and bulimia - I swear - she would gorge herself with food then puke it everywhere... lovely...

hee hee. Yeah, she's none too happy about it either!

Chicken has TOTALLY stayed away from her until today & her furry mommy (cause I'm her real mommy) who usually hates her guts has been sweet to her...I told DH that chicken has been saying -"this is a girl thing & i'm staying out of it"

We're such nerds....
