I bought a pair at Target over the weekend and I really like them but they need to be hemmed. They are about 2" shorter than I normally wear my jeans. How short should they be since they are a different silouette (sp?)? Should I just scrunch them up at the bottom? Or hem them at ankle length like this (which I think is really cute):
These are sort of what mine look like scrunched:
But maybe a little more.
I don't know. I'm so confused. Help me please?

I think you could go either way, but too much scrunch will look lame. I like the idea of hemming skinny jeans to show off fabulous heels. To me, that's the whole purpose of wearing them. Scrunching them a little bit with flats could be cute, too.
I think the first option is better for leaner figures. Since you are tiny, I think you could go either way. I scrunch my jeans but I have more junk in my trunk. Since the jeans are such a great price, you could always get a second pair..(sorry for enabling)
I prefer a little scrunch...but I like my jeans on the longer side. I think if you get them hemmed they'll look too much like capris, which may or may not be the desired effect...If you do get them hemmed remember to wash them before hemming so they don't end up even shorter than you wanted.
I think a little scrunch is a good thing. I think jeans as short as that first photo tend to make the wearer look like they squeeeeezed themselves into their jeans. If there's a little scrunch and therefore a little extra fabric somewhere, they don't look so 'painted on'.

I really like the cropped look...they look a little tight in that first photo, but yours look like they fit you better. I would get them just a smidge longer. I love this photo of Stacy London wearing them:

i like both lengths- i want a shorter pair of skinny jeans too- i like the retro look to them. I think you should either get two pairs, or try them long for a while, and see how you feel then. I do have a couple pairs that scrunch, cuz i'm too lazy to get them hemmed. they cool.
i think you should get two pairs or do it like the first picture, but a tad longer.
ETA: you look fab in them! i love the outfit and the way you accessorized!

That's not me, just a pic I found on stylediary.net. But I agree, she looks really cute .
I think I'm just gonna get another pair. Maybe I'll get a black pair and scrunch and then hem up the blue pair.

Thank you so much for reminding me to wash first. They shrunk about 1" in the dryer so now they are the perfect length with a little bit of scrunch. Yay!
How did the fashion world ignore skinny jeans for so long? I am loving this sillouette! I'm tempted to get another pair and do the retro cropped look too. Hmm...

I'm not liking the cropped look, I think it looks ridiculous. It seems to be making the people in the two pictures look short and wide as well. No offense, jmo
