STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

i'm looking into trying some Kenra styling products.. I currently use Pureology shampoo/conditioner/heat protectors/etc. but want to try out Kenra b/c the products are cheaper! and seem to be just as good...

I'm interested in the root lifters- either the lifting spray or the volumizing serum- which is better? and can i use a root lifter along with Pureology PowerDressing (which i put in before blowdrying for body,hold,shine, etc)? or would that be too much product? (i'm trying to make my hair voluminous/full of body like celebs and instead of just straight and boring:) and also, how exactly do i use this stuff!

also, what about the platinum silkening mist? or the gloss? would either of these help to keep my flyaways/broken pieces down, or are they more just to add shine? do they weigh down hair? 

any other products i should check out?
