STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I have a pair of light blue pants.  Last year I wore a top I got from ON that had a beige background with light bue flowers, orange flowers, and ecru flowers.  I wore an ecru shrug over it.  Well, since I am constantly learning more about fashion, I realized that the shrug is too big and does something funny under the arms--not gonna wear it anymore.  I have been searching endlessly for another jacket type piece because the top is a tank style and I really can't wear that to work without a cover.  I am thinking about just getting a brand new top piece for the pants and not wearing the ON one.  Any outfit ideas????
