I called anthro this morning and told the customer service representative I spoke with that I had sent the skirt in for exchange.  He said that there were only two in stock of the size I wanted.  I went ahead and ordered the size I needed because I was so afraid it would be out of stock by the time the exchange was processed.  He gave me free shipping since technically it was an exchange.  However, on the form I sent back I indicated I wanted an exchange for a different size.  He put a note in the computer for it to be credited to my account since it had technically exchanged over the phone.  Now I am concerned that whoever handles exchanges won't see the note and then I will end up with two skirts.  UGH!!!  Have you ever had this experience?

Don't sweat it.  If by chance they still have your size and send you a second skirt, then just call back and explain that you had already done an exchange by phone and the person wrote a note to cancel the exchange done via mail.  They're really nice so they'll just tell you to return the second skirt and they will cover the return shipping, the only caveat being that you'll have to wait for that second credit to your CC. 


I bet they won't even have your size though by time they get around to processing an exchange by mail so you probably won't even have to worry about that scenario.
