ok, let's get this started.  i loved last nights episode.  nikki is such an instigator.  i love how she was just putting ideas into the other wives heads.  and at the end of the episode when she was saying she wants to bring another soul into the family, was that her saying she wants to get pregnant or that she is pregnant?  another note on nikki though, after seeing her get in that guys face, it made me really like her a whole lot more.  she is so down fro the whole family.  not just bill and her kids but for all of them. 


i really liked barb and bill sneaking around together, though i felt bad for her.  it's her husband and she has to sneak around with him because it is someone else's night.  i love how when they got home from that party thing and he was at margine's he was looking out the window at barb just staring at her and loving her. 


i liked how margine was trying to make a friend and i thought the gulf war thing was too funny.  i did kind of feel like it sucked for her that she can't really have any friends.  but she has to be so careful.  it would be hard to keep up with the two different lives.

I liked Nicki more after this episode, too. I felt bad for her when he said Bill married her for money (though I think it's true).


I really want more background on Bill & Barb's relationship before the polygamy. It seems like she was a pretty hardcore Mormon...she was mentioning that her relatives were some of the first in the area or something.

This show is GREAT!  Every episode just sucks me in more and more.  I loved seeing Bill and Barb sneak around but I know that is not going to last because, like Barb said, it is almost like cheating, since they are not being honest with the other wives.  I felt bad for Margine who seems so lonely--umm, maybe she should become friends with Sarah since they are only five years apart!  And while I don't like Nikki, I was happy to see her try and defend her whole family against her sleazy dumb brother Alby. 


I know Margine was raised by a single mother, with whom she moved to Utah after high school (I think that is what the show's web site said), but I have a feeling there is a lot more to her story because of how she threw all her old belongings away.  I think she is naive and just wanted someone (or some people) to love her.


I also feel for Barb, because I think she is happy being in a plural marriage but would be happiest having Bill all to herself.  I believe what Sarah said last episode how Barb loved Bill too much that she agreed to a plural marriage so as to not lose him, but I also think it had something to do with her being sick--like, she thought if she would ever die, then at least there would be someone else to take care of her family. 


I love this show!

i agree with this.  i loved last night's episode.  i thought is was sweet and hot that they were sneaking around like that.  i think i would have been upset if it was him and anyone else. 


i'm confused.  is nikki pregnant?  or wanting to get pregnant?  also, i thought margene might have been pregnant because she was sick (but i missed the first 10 minutes so did it say why she was sick?)


i think bill handled the lady he works with very well.  he put a nice spin on it at the end.  it will be interesting to see how that pans out and how margene's relationship with the neighbor pans out. 


this was a great episode.

They never said why she was sick. I am confused too.  I am getting pregnancy vibes from Margine, but then Nikki acted like she was pregnant/wanted to get pregnant too.  I was distracted while Nikki was talking about "bringing another soul into the family," so I didn't hear her whole little speech, but could she possbily be talking about another wife?!

Nicki is definitely pregnant.  When she said "I'm bringing another soul into the world," it's my impression that this reflects the LDS church's (and their offshoots') teachings that a person's soul is eternal and exists even before he/she is born.  By giving birth, a woman gives this ephemeral "soul" a body and an earthy presence.  (For this reason, LDS couples are encouraged to have children.)


Tashina: Didn't you predict last week that Nicki would get pregnant?  Kudos to you!

it was all the refrences to her being "sick" that made me figure.  and i new what she meant about "another soul", i just wasn't sure if she was allready pregnant or if she was saying she wanted to get pregnant. 


and btw:  it was so sad the look on barb's face when nikki was saying that.  it was like someone just peed in her cheerios.  i felt so bad for her.
