I am STUPID, STUPID, STUPID. I had a $20 Zappos coupon (because they sent the wrong shoes on a previous order) I recently used the coupon on a pair of shoes that didn't work out.
I asked for a reissue of the coupon but the response is that it's a one time only coupon. Basically I threw $20 away and right now I have a bad taste in my mouth about Zappos. I'd like to respond in some way but have no clue whether I'm even thinking about this straight. I feel like the coupon could easily be reissued, I mean they are so big on customer goodwill and all that. 20 bucks is 20 bucks not to mention that the shoes I was going to order are Zappos exclusives. Anyone have any thoughts?
So they refunded your money less the $20 you used the coupon for? If that's so, that is complete bullshit. I'd demand it back. Had you known about this 'policy' you could have ordered the shoes sans coupon to see if they would even work, and they you could have returned and rebought with the coupon!
I think they'll make it right. Be courteous but firm.

I had the same thing happen with a $50 coupon. I complained enough and made a couple different calls and finally they issued another one. But I used it to purchase a pair I later returned and ended up still losing the coupon. It sucks!
Oooh Elle, you are clever! I think that I'll bring that point up...I mean if everyone knew ahead of time the coupon is a one time only deal and did that, it would really cost them more money and time.
Rar, can I ask how you ended up with a $50 coupon, I thought $20 was a lot!
