Okay, well, *need* might not be the exact word, but...well...



...you get the point.


I'm thinking for the 5 year anniversary in 2 and a half years.  This is my dream ring.  It's at Tiffany for *gulp* $9,300 in my size.  Where else could I look for a ring like this?  Or would it be cheaper to have the ring made?

Tiffany's has a huge mark-up!  That ring is 2.4 carats, you could probably spend $4-5k for a ring like that in another store.


 


Most local jewelers should carry rings like that.  Price will vary depending upon what cut, total carat weight, and metal in the band.  Also think if you want the diamonds to go all the way around or just in the front of the band.

I want it to go all the way around like that just cuz I know it'll turn around on my finger and I'd want the diamonds always to face up. 


Hmm...and $2,300 as opposed to $9,300???

I added more to my original post because the Tiffany's ring is 2.4 carats so another ring that size would be a bit more than $2400 - more like $4-5k. HTH!
