Does anyone know where I can find cute headbands under $40? I saw a super cute one at Nordstrom last night, but $40 for a plastic headband?? Come on.


I also like the ones from BR with the silk wrapped around the plastic. There was only one left at my BR a month ago and I decided to "think about it." Now it's gone! Grrr ...

I got a black satin one by Goody at Target for $4.  It's a wide 60s like headband, kind of like the one rar210 has from BR in her threadstyle posts.  I also bought a really cute ivory suede one at F21 for $3 last week.

BargainQueen - where were they in Target?  With the rest of the hair brushes, etc.?  I went there last weekend looking for a headband but didn't see any cute ones like the one you mentioned.


The ones on ebay look cute too...Elle, could you tell me who the seller is?

I don't know, to be honest.  I just did a search for headbands in women's accessories .  Gave me many, many pages of results, though you could probably narrow it a bit more by including 'fabric' or 'satin' in the search criteria .

i have one that she made for me for christmas (how sweet is she?) and i adore it -

Yup in the hair brush sect. I got it last month though, it was the last black fabric one there.  I had gotten an email from Goody about new hair stuff  launching at Target that week, by the time I made it there most of the headbands were gone, they had a few of the wide plastic ones w/o the fabric. 


Now that I think about it I almost got one at Claires so you may want to check there too, I just didn't like any of the fabrics, maybe they've re-stocked w/nicer ones.

I am wearing one from Claire's today that is black fabric.  It is pretty wide so it has that Jessica Simpson look to it.  They were really cheap too.

I got the same one (well, I assume it is the same because how many wide black satin headbands does Goody make?) just yesterday at Target.

I get my handbands at Target or Claire's.  I have two of the Goody wide satin ones.  I love them.
