I believe some of you NYC girls have attended or exhibited (JMR?) at these events. They are coming to Atlanta and have asked me to be an exhibitor. Two things concern me:

1. I have heard some "not-so-positive" things about Shecky's in the past...or at least I think I have. I just can't remember where or when.

2. It's April 4th and they are contacting me about an event that takes place in about three weeks. IME that doesn't bode well - most big events are planned out further in advance...but maybe that's the nature of this kind of thing?

Anyone who has attended or displayed stuff there - I'd love your opinions...TIA.

From a non-exhibitor point of view, it seems like a good opportunity depending on how much money they are charging for space. A huge amount of people attend and jewelry is really popular there. I've bought a ton of jewelry when I've gone. I would just try to do something to distinguish your table from others or to get a location near the door. The majority of exhibitors are selling jewelry.
