I know! I would read it and start cracking up laughing. My boyfriend would ask why I was laughing at and I would have to try to explain it to him. Finally I turned my computer off so I could not keep checking it.

Good ole Billie Sue.

Somehow I had missed all the BS, I just looked her up and got a good laugh, there was nothing ugly about it....although I wonder who has time for this stuff....and hey, like Detroit said, it's the nature of internet forums.

I'm not really sure what all the ruckus is about, to be honest.

I can't speak for everyone, but I think part of the "ruckus" is because we (or most of us) don't know who Billie Sue is. Or at least we didn't know she was a regular poster at first, and therefore we don't know if this is merely joking or if it is meant to be insulting.

Everyone loves a good mystery...

I agree...I had no idea someone would make up a new screen names to do such a thing.  However, the posts were funny and now I'm curious who it was...

I know, I'm so nosey! If you are then so am I! I'm curious to. I'm a top 20 poster (I think) and I've never done it. 1 down, 19 to go. do you really think if someone has done it, they wouldn't deny it?

Ah, crap. Dumbly, I never thought of that.

Btw, I do think it's pretty funny Billie Sue's initials are BS. I never got that until now also. And I did appreciate her pork rind recipe. I'm itching to figure out how many points that would be.

ok, on the billie sue thing, i didnt notice her being mean to anyone, i thought it was clearly a joke... so to me, no harm, no foul.

however- i am fascinated that there are posters here with double identities!!! i love the psychology behind this!

BS is obviously a joke after her posts yesterday.  As for people double posting, I can understand if they have a personal issue but internet forums are anonymous enough, I don't really see why people would post under two different names for any other reason.

I think most people (including myself) knew it was all in good fun, hence their posts.  I didn't see them as snarky at all, but I have a really sarcastic sense of humor.

Well, if "Billie Sue" really didn't mean to make fun of anyone and was joking around just for a bit of fun, I'm sure there's no reason for him/her to hide behind an alias any longer. Then we would all know there was nothing weird or mean-spirited about it at all, right?

yeah I agree. I wouldn't have thought the other posts were as bad if I hadn't seen the one that a couple people in this thread linked back to, where she was specifically mocking kaykay, but knowing that she had a specific target makes it apparent that the first couple health/beauty posts were intended to be mean. They were making fun of May's question about her hair. I mean, she's an older lady--who the hell thinks it's cute to make fun of old people? Yeah, undoubtedly she didn't know May was an older lady, but that's the point--why bother? Why go out of your way to be a bitch to somebody? I just think it's childish and pretty pathetic. And like Hedvig said, if it's all just a joke, no harm done, why go to the trouble to make up a fake username to hide your identity? Lame.

I guess I missed most of the drama, but halleybird2 is not a troll.

Oh wow...I missed all of this because I rarely read any posts relating to hair. When I went back and looked at BS's posts through her profile, it looks like she knows May,KayKay, and KayKay's husband. I also think she is around more regularly than it seems because she said she had seen the posts about the Nascar crockpot. I'm a regular detective! LOL! I have to admit, I really want to know who she is now. And who the people are who post under 2 names.

I think Laquinta is a fake poster, too. She has the same exact writing style as another poster. I know I'm not the only one who noticed. Maybe it's the same person as BS, too.

Halleybird, I love that picture of Sully (that's Sully, right?). It looks like you caught him mid-bark.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Oh and just for the record, Kaykay posted just a few minutes ago in Health & Beauty that she has no idea who this BS person is.

Oh, no. Snarkybird is a troll. But Snarkybird lives inside of halleybird2. It's all quite complicated.   P.S. You are now Snarky J in my mind. Forever.

Maat- Sully says "thank you very much." (which sounds a lot like rawrawrarwr, incidentally.)

OK - this is getting out of hand, and seems to be turning into a witch hunt.  No one is going to come forward to "expose" themselves, and I'm not going to expose anyone.  Frankly, I'm sorry I shared as much as I did.
