I just found this thread, but I'm not sure how I've missed it!  I personally knew Billie Sue (BS - is that intentional????) was fake because Detroit said so a while back.  For that reason, I didn't mind giving her/him a good ribbing.  Especially that I am from TX and know all the stereotypes of what people thing people from TX/ the south in general are like. 


Didn't anyone notice how "dumb" BS has gotten lately?  He/She started out speaking/writing very well and then all of a sudden just forgot the English language.  It is kind of insulting that that person would make fun of southern people like that.  Shooting a raccoon in the garage.  Jello mold (jellow, I should say), high end stuff like Aquanet.  Come on.  It does seem obvious that BS knows certain other people from this board, though.....  Talk to each other on the phone or something for goodness' sake!

Yes, of course!  And I'm pretty sure BS is southern but wants to seem as hicky as possible.  If I went back home to TX and tried to act like a total hick, I'd probably get my butt kicked!

Wow this is a popular thread. While I haven't been able to follow most of what occurred, I think I remember reading on a post somewhere that Billie Sue is related to Hello Kitty who knows kaykay??? Remember not everyone understood Hello Kitty's sense of humor either. I guess I don't have much to judge from but it just seems like Billie Sue has a similar sense of humor and I don't think she meant any harm.

Ok, I'm really late to this post and I have to admit I haven't read past the first page, but I agree with everything Metric said. And when I saw the Billie Sue posts, I really didn't think they were funny. And I don't just mean that as in, "it was too mean-spirited to be funny" - I mean it as in, "this is just a really dorky sense of humor." Sheesh. It was America's Funniest Video's level comedy, at best....
