Deal Or No Deal

I want to be on this show SOOOOOO bad!  Some of those people get so greedy and leave with hardly anything like the one lady passing up over $200,000 and leaving with I think $750!  I enter the viewer sweepstakes every show, texting one lucky number case and entering the rest online.  A lot of people from my state has won, so who knows?

The next best thing to being on the show (and besides winning the sweeps) is the online game:

http://www.nbc.com/Deal_or_No_Deal/game/

My first try I picked the million dollar case but sold it for 200,000 ish.  My really good deal was selling a $25 case for $396,513.

LOVE this show. DH and I watch it religiously. We always yell at the greedy people. It's fun!

It will probably get over-done soon like "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" did a while back.

The BF and I love this show.  Did anyone watch last night?  Did anyone see that blonde lady do a cheer to the banker?  I thought I might throw up!   It's fun to watch, but the contestants drive me insane!

I like the suspense of the show, but do they seriously go out and find the biggest goobers they can to be on the show?  And what about their personal 'cheering squad' of 4 people up on the stage with them?  Sheesh!  I get that you need to be enthusiastic, but they really do take it too far IMO.

DH and I love this show!  Although he is very "no deal" go till the end, and I am very "take the deal" that's a lot of money to pass up!  It's fun to watch together.  The contestants are VERY annoying and Howie gets to me sometimes as well with the nasal-y way he answers that damn phone every time!  I totally called the Hummer in the vault, very good twist.  Although the guy didn't take it so they are probably like, what are we going to do with this hummer??  And I have been getting teary when they fly someone in and surprise people like that guys daughters and the girls elderly grandma.  So cute.

I watched it for the first time yesterday, I really like the show and the suspense of guessing whats in the suitcase. My question is are all the audience members potential contestants? Or do they already have people chosen to be the next contestant? I was just wondering because since every contestant has either a three or four family members with them.

I really like the concept of this show, but I feel like they drag it out soooooo much. I mean they explain whats going on like EVERY time the banker is going to call. I get that suspense it what makes it, but they go a little overboard imo.

I have been watching this show too, my immediate thought was that you must have to audition with some crazy, bad financially minded relatives in order to make it on the show.

Did anyone see the one last week or so where the guy had a great chance to make around 250K and his two very young daughters cried and told him to take the deal at 94K?  I am all about being conservative in this game, I get so mad at the people who "go for the big money or go home with nothing," but who takes advice from a 9 year old over their own knowledge of statistics and chance?

All in all, I am loving the show, but I don't think it will last.  Hey, I am already sick of the models and their facial expressions upon opening cases.

I like it too. The boy and I watch it all the time. I'm uber-conservative though. At the first offer of like $17,000, I'm like, "take it!" I'd suck at that show.

Did anyone watch last night? What happened to the girl whose grandmother surprised her? I didn't get to see the end.

I want to hate this show, but it's so addicting.  There's no talent or skill involved and the contestants can be SO. STUPID.  But if it's on and I have nothing to do, then I'll sit there and watch the whole damn episode!

I always think though if I were to get on the show, once the offer got to $75k +, I'd take the deal.  I can't believe some of these people that turn down offers of $250k when they have like a 1 in 10 chance of getting a million.  Ridiculous.

Would someone tell Howie Mandel that he's not 25 and really needs to get rid of the soul patch?  Vomit.

Tell me about it.  FH saw it last night and turned to me and said "Hmmmm, maybe I should try that ...." .

At least ol' Howie 'knows' all the girls' names .....

Hahahahahahaha!  That's one part of the show that I always find hillarious.  So ridiculous.

OMG - we did & were both in tears. I was like "are we really crying over deal or no deal????" I'm glad he took it. surely he makes very little money - that's probably like 3 years of salary & I would rather see them take the money than chance it. I think it would be ridiculous to go on. I wouldn't want to do the "what if" part.

I can't believe how greedy people are!!!!!! If they pass on those huge numbers, I always hope they end up with a damn penny in their briefcase. Jerks.

She took home I think over $300,000.  I could not believe she had over $200,000 in debt from student loans!  And ahem, a gambler, maybe that's how she racked up the debt?  When Howie said how she didn't even go to school, was he just kidding?  Anyways, when the offer was $200,000 I was like, "take it, take it you greedy biotch!"  When she said no deal, I was hoping she would leave with the smallest amount on the board and learn a life lesson!  I just hope she first pays her bills and doesn't waste the rest of it on a trip to Vegas.

I love Deal or No Deal.  At first I thought it was boring.  I found it just like watching someone scratch a scratch ticket.  My boyfriend was into it and told me to just watch it all the way through.    I did and now I'm hooked.

At first I thought Howie Mandel was so queer and corny.  I may be the blacksheep here, but I find him a little sexy.

I actually used to work at "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." I was young (and dumb) enough that I was surprised when the primetime version got cancelled, and everyone in the office got canned. Showing it four nights a week doesn't exactly keep viewers clamoring for more!

My BF loves "Deal." Last night we saw the one with the guy who wanted the Hummer. So greedy!
