I apologize in advance to anyone who may like them or wear them, but I freakin hate Crocs. I understand the functional purpose of them and I'd wear them if I had to wade through a dirty lake or something, but I currently live in a less-than-fashionable area and I see girls wear them all the time with regular street outfits. Usually these outfits consist of a brightly colored shirt, too short jeans, and matching brightly colored Crocs (and sometimes socks).

EEwww, yes. I have seen so many versions of these shoes EVERYWHERE! Two weeks ago when I was at a banquet this lady was wearing the cheap $12 kind and I was wondering what's so appealing about them. They were quite innapropriate to wear to a catered dinner.
I don't own crocs but my mom does....and I was the enabler. I bought them for her for her b-day (her request, as I had never even heard of them before).

Okay, I'll admit it, I own those Crocs. I don't think they are any worse than Uggs, but I agree they are ugly.
However, I dare you to try on a pair and then not buy them. They are so comfortable, they suck you in...and this is coming from a gal that owns greater than 200 pairs of shoes and most have 3+ inch heels!!
Also...I only wear them to the grocery store and the beach.

If you only wear them to the grocery store and the beach, then it's ok and I forgive you :) I definitely see the allure. The shoe itself isn't that bad (I agree that they're really no worse than Uggs), but what bothers me the most is the way that some people choose to wear them. No one needs neon green plastic shoes to match their neon green sweater
Oh, and I also really like the doll flip flops. I want them now!
these shoes look like something i would have decorated myself when i was about 8 and was obsessed with anything that was purple as well as buying scrap notions at garage sales.
they also kind of oddly remind me of the barong costume we saw in bali -
some of these shoes have seriously had me laughing out loud. gross!
i love these:
karina maybe you'd like those shoes better in brown? ;)
