Still loving this show!  We got some good background info in this one, like how Roman got to be so powerful and Sara's version of why Barb let Bill marry Nicki.  And Margene is so cute!  She just wants everyone to get along.  I just about died when she said "F**k!"

Next week is going to be great... more drama between the wives about competing over Bill (I think it will become pretty clear here that he loves Barb the most).

i love this show!!! i felt so bad for margine when she got everything dumped on her by nikki.  i think one of them is going to be pregnant soon.  i am thinking maybe nikki.  i thought for sure they would find out she was pregnant in last nights episode.  especially when the phone rang in the begining of the show right after she said she didn't "feel good".  i thought it was the doctor calling to say she was pregnant.  how hard would that be to see this other woman walking around carrying your husbands child?!

i know that they didn't show a lot of margine and denny in this episode, but in the previous episodes, i kind of got the impression that something might happen between them in the future.  purely by accident, but i still got that feeling.

I feel what you're saying about Benny... the directors keep harping on how horny he is all the time!  And Barb did give Margene a disapproving look when she and Ben were "leg wrestling" on the couches in the last episode (or was it the 2nd one?  I can't remember).

I thought the scene with Ben and Nicki was so funny:

"Don't worry, Benny... I grew up with 18 brothers... I'll take care of your sheets."

The way she said it, I just totally cracked up.

I betcha Margene's the one that's going to end up preggers.

i've never seen this before, and am so annoyed that i've missed all the previous episodes and probably won't see many more (no cable) but i saw it last night and LOVED it!

i really didn't know what it was besides polygamy, i thought it was supposed to be some weird spoof, but a friend of mine told me i'd prob really like it, as it had alot to do with religion.  that's not the only factor, but he's right, it was really fascinating to me!

so anyway, in the last episode, let me just say that nicki's spending prob DRIVES ME CRAZY -

that's how i was when i was 17-19 and thank god i got it over with then so i didn't rake up almost $59,000 in credit card debt!  how scary!

Boo! I just wrote a long post and I lost it!

Anyway, I love this show. I don't even watch tv, but I can't miss this every Sunday night. My favorite character is Margene. I think you girls may be right about something happening with her and Benny. I also think maybe they just did that scene just to show how young she actually is. I guess we will find out.

I was glad to finally hear what Barb had to say about the polygamy situation. I understand why Nicki came into the family (not that I would consent to it myself, but I "get" it), but why Margene? She was just babysitting and he fell in love or what?

I can't stand Nicki. I hope Bill finds out about her spending in the next episode. I really didn't expect her to owe quite so much. I found the scene with Suze Orman funny, even though I can't stand Suze Orman either.

I think we'll find this out later, but I bet it was to neutralize the tension between Nicki and Barb. If I was Barb, I wouldn't want to be alone with Nicki either. Btw, have you seen Margene's blog?

I bet Nicki coming into the family has something to do with Roman's loan as well as Barb's illness.

I'm totally with you on this one.  I think that, along with lending Bill money when Barb was sick, Roman sent Nicki as a "help," knowing that Bill believed in plural marriage.  Roman was banking on the fact that Barb couldn't have kids any more (probably wasn't much up for nookie, either), and that Nicki would be a "temptation" to Bill... that Bill would end up taking on Nicki as a 2nd wife, thereby binding Bill to Roman for life.

As for Margene, I think it was just mostly about sex.  She's young and pretty, and Bill already has two wives... plus Barb and Nicki probably thought, "Great!  Another pair of hands to help take care of our massive brood!"  They all may have felt sorry for her, too, since she grew up in a single parent home that wasn't very stable and she sucked at her job.

i agree 100%.  my three contributions: i think that Nicki is going to get pregnant soon, i love margene's character, and i think that barb's daughter has beautiful features...huge eyes and huge lips.

it's getting annoying.  i wish it would go away.  i was listening to mark and brian on the radio all morning hoping some of the giggling i experience while listening to the show would help it go away, but it didn't.

Did you guys notice that Sara is one of the plastic girls (I can't remember her name...the really dumb one) from Mean Girls?  I always thought she looked so familiar but I couldn't place her until I rewatched the movie on Saturday.

Karen! OMG, it's been driving me nuts trying to figure out where I know her from. By the way, I am starting to like Tina Majorino's character. She reminds me of the sweet Mormon girls I went to school with.
