I just unpacked my bag, so officially my weekend is over, so I hope this counts!


Got these in the tortise today - the case is beautiful and was an extra bonus since I hadn't seen it before.


Also another bottle of my favorite fragrance ever - Jean Paul Gaultier.  Went to the Nordstrom's Fragrance Festival.

I'm back from my week birthday vacation at my parents.  I did a little shopping and got a few gifts.  Worth mentioning...


Tools of the Trade Cutlery 18-Piece Forged Cutlery Set Finally, I only had two paring knives and 5 other knives but to steak knives whatsoever!


AK Anne Klein Davis These will satisfy my need for a white shoe for Spring and Summer.  I really needed something that wasn't a sandal to wear with trouser pants but not an athletic or canvas style.


 My mom got me this Doodle Pro.  Much better than etch-a-sketch.  It's hilarious to draw caricatures of my family, we get a good laugh!  You can also pull a picture out of magazine and trace it, pretty cool!

Prissy I'm so jealous you got this.  I tried it on sat and it looked like a sack bag on me - way too long and too big (of course they didn't have anything below a size 6 there which might have made a difference in a smaller size).  If you don't mind me asking aren't you a tad on the short side too?  Are you getting it hemmed or leaving it on the longer side?  It was a good 3 or 4 inches past my knees.  I was going to wear it to a wedding in June (in Nola) but I am now looking for something else.  Did you try on the strapless black aline dress (from the cover of the march catalogue)? I didn't see it at the store i was in Sat.

They are not as cool, but close enough and about 1/3 of the price.

I also got a DVF wrap dress in the wrong size, so we won't count that ;)
