I want to make a spinach frittata but I'm not sure I have the right type of pan that can go both on the range and in the oven.  I have a non-stick pan and also emerilware cookware like this...

Emerilware Stainless 12-Inch Fry Pan

I don't think my non-stick pan is oven safe but what about the other pan?

i love fritattas! i'm not positive about this, but i think generally the part that would matter is what your handle is made out of. like if it's coated in plastic i wouldn't put that in the oven :) but if the whole thing is metal (like in that photo), it should be fine.

actually if that is the exact pan you have, i think it says in the description that it is fine in the oven! "The handle stays cool on the stovetop but won't be harmed by an oven's highest heat."

Kate, you are right...it is oven safe.  I took another look at the website and under the care and use section, it says it is oven safe.  Don't know how I missed that before.  Now, I'll have to make my first fritatta tonight!
