buyers with no feedback?
Permalink Closed

There is a new user with no feedback bidding on one of my items for sale. I don't have anything in my listing about new users contacting me or I'll delete their bids, and it's too late for me to add that as the item is already in progress. Should I email this buyer to see how serious they are, or just let it go?

I would just go with it unless its a super expensive item, in which case I might shoot off an email. I just figure, everyone has to start somewhere, right?

Thanks! That's what I'll do then. I only started using ebay a month ago so I am definitely sympathetic to new users.

I would just let it go. Maybe she/he even joined just to bid on your item. Like ILoveChoo said, everyone has to start somewhere. Put it on next time if it makes you nervous. If you do it now, you just risk upsetting a most likely honest person bidding on an item.
