Have you tried a personal shopper at an upscale department store that sells Manolos (like Neimans). They are great at tracking things down.

I have the name of a seller on ebay who has some that are great knockoffs, but for the real thing I would call Neimans or Saks and have them tracked down.

Not to hijack but I was in Neiman's this weekend looking at the Manolos and I was really shocked at how terrible the quality and workmanship was. The inner soles were cut with jagged edges, didn't fit correctly, the leather had all kinds of cracks in them, etc. And it wasn't just one pair. It was practically all the pairs I looked at.

Has anyone else noticed a decrease in quality in Manolos?

blubiride: I've actually never been terribly fond recently of Manolos because of the workmanship. That's why I'd go Louboutin.

Neiman's personal shopper would be the way to go, IMO. Have you tried the Manolo store in NY and seeing if they can locate them for you?

I tried the personal shopper at Neiman's, but they haven't gotten back to me yet, and I already sent them 3 requests.  Are there any similar pairs from Louboutin?
