I think it's the thickness of the platform that does it - they look ever-so-stripperesque to me because of that .

Yea the platform and the height of the heel are just a little too much for me. I wouldnt feel comfortable in them.

i'm so/so. i'm not instantly drawn to them, but they don't scream cheap either. i think they're one of those things that when worn right would look awesome, but in the hands of the wrong person would be horrible.

ok, so i looked at the auction and they're high, but what if i only wore them with long jeans?  still stripperish?  i'm on the fence too, but for the price...

hmm. they remind me a bit of the SM magnolias. i think the pattern and style is cute but it's the thickness of the platform that is throwing me. they definitely have a very 70's/disco vibe with the heel height and the platform. i could see them working better with pants - like some wide legged white trousers. i think if you paired them with a skirt or fitted capris that would accentuate the stripper factor.

I don't think they're stripperish at all - platforms are going to be HUGE this summer. I like them - I think you should go for it.

i think they're fun and cute, and won't look hookerish at all with the right outfit.

So cute! I think the print, peep toe, and wooden platform deter any hooker vibes.

I think those are the shoes Marcia Brady wishes she could pull off.  But I have confidence in you, shopgirl82, I would love to see what you do with them!

Yep, me too. If you can rock the heel then go for it. I think they're cute.

I like them! For some reason I like the 2nd pic colors better. They are probably the same shoe but there is more green in the 2nd pic. I think you could totally make these look great without going the stripper route. The colors are great. I think you will get more use out of them that you expect this spring.

I loooooove the print and the heel and *almost* everything about the shoe, except for the platform.  I'm just not a platform person in general though.  But other than that, I think they're super cute.

I think they are cute...eventhough I think the platform is a little chunky.

You could definitely pull it off though with some wide legged pants (like smash suggested)
