Ok so I bought the black patent leather cork platform Louboutin's over the weekend. Now I see them on ebay reselling for $1400. I could make a $600 profit on them. Question. Do I do it?

Honestly, I think they do more for you shoe collection than $600 would do for your wallet. I'd maybe try to find another pair (in your size or not) and ebay those, if you want the cash. Plus because they're Louboutins and such a popular style, wouldn't they hold their value pretty well? So if in a year or two you don't find that you wear them, you could ebay them then and probably get near the same amount ....

I think they are such a trendy item you should sell them while they are hot. I don't see them as a classic style that will stick around for a long time.

Were they sold out? Can you buy another pair and ebay them? I wouldn't want to give up the Louboutins!

i agree, really, Collette. As much as I like to live vicariously through your shoe collection, I think the knock offs are going to make them not as special. sigh.

i like them and would keep them. but iirc you bought them b/f and said they weren't comfy, or did i make that up.
i would look for a knock off and ebay those. honestly they're so hot right now, i wouldn't ebay them. it seems like there's too much potential to end up with some deadbeat bidder. which makes the whole thing more effort than it's worth.
hmmm...i personally couldn't do it but that's because i get very attached to my possessions as soon as i buy them. especially special shoes such as these (it's like they become my children or something, very weird ). but if you're feeling any kind of buyer's remorse at all, then that's a different story. like are they not comfy? or are you feeling guilty or anything? if not, i say keep them.
as for the whole knockoffs not making them as special situation, karina and laken have a point but imo, the knockoffs are easily recognizable as knockoffs and even if they weren't you'd still be able to know yours are the real deal. so yeah, i say keep 'em.
Do you think you will be wearing the shoes in 6 years? I break it down to I am willing to spend $100 on a pair of shoes I will wear for one year...anything over that is ridiculous. I would put them up on Ebay I know the shoes wouldn't be in my shoe rotation in 6 years. If you think they will still make the rotation keep them. If not, sell sell sell!
thats a tough one! didn't you have them before and return them thought cause they were uncomfortable? Or am I crazy?
If you love them, keep them. That being said, I think they'll look dated in a year and if you sell them you can get 2 other pairs of fab shgoes! I dont know that id be able to selkl them though....

i would keep them. i think they're great and you've gone back to them twice. IMO you don't seem like a knock off kinda girl so if you like them, keep them.
