I am writing an essay for class on the choices that women/couples make when it comes to having or not having children and the benefits of that decision.


I would like to start with your reasons fo deciding to have or not have children.

Well, we've had a few discussions about this & I think there is some really good info on this thread. My answer there pretty much sums up what I'd right to answer this & I think you could get some answers / ideas through this. I know we've talked about it in a few different contexts, but this is a start!

I'm adopted...so one of my biggest fears when I was pregnant with my son was not knowing what kind of gentically linked disorders I might be risking passing along.
