  Is that lace or does it have sequins too?  In the picture its a tad shiny for me to tell.  I think it would be ok.  If you don't feel comfortable do you have a neutral color sweater or shirt?  Are you just going to the wake or to the funeral and is the funeral at the funeral home or at a church?

I think the shirt is fine for a memorial in a non-church setting... it's nice but not too flashy, ya know?  It would look perfect with the skirt, too.
