I always save cool home decorating looks, so I thought I would post some of my favorites.  Please do the same since it seems like all of us STers are decorating new places or redecorating existing places. 


Can't you just picture ms. halleybird curled up inside of here grading papers or reading a book?

i think this is perfect for a dorm room or kids room...it also looks like it wouldn't be that expensive.


Office in a Box


i love the idea of a round table in an office.  it's a chic version of the tables in my h.s. where i got so much done.  this would make me instantly productive.

pretty traditional, but nice.

i love the platform and the curtains.  it looks like a honeymoon suite. 


Bedroom Zen


i absolutely love this.  it looks like a cozy nest.  and i love the baskets above the bed.  it makes up for a night stand.

i really like this look

this is a great alternative for a boy's room.  i love that this isn't sports or cowboys, or just a typical boy's themed room.

Funny, I just started a file the other day for decor ideas!


I was very anti Pottery Barn for a while, but their latest catalog had some inspiring stuff for me. . .


I love the colors of these chairs, and the high wainscotting + plate rail.

lynnie- it was just a home decorating website.  no advertisements that i remember.  isn't it great?!  i REALLY love that, and i would have loved that as a child.  it is definitely something that i will keep in my file.

I love the ottoman and that book nook is very original! What site is the ottoman from? /sigh this thread so makes me wish I had some funding to redecorate right now. We are looking at buying a house in the next year so I'm trying not to do much around here for now.
