Seychelles website *update*
Permalink Closed

I emailed Seychelles cs earlier this month trying to locate the Limited Edition shoes.  I received a nice email back saying that they were going redo their website at the end of the month, and you could now order directly from them.  Here is their website address: www.seychellesfootwear.com.  I'll let you know how well they do with delivery, etc.

*edited for review of site and shoe*

Those shoes are beautiful, are they light blue or white? It's hard to tell in the photo. Either way I'd love a review when you get them!

They are more of a robin egg blue, they were featured in the Feb Lucky I believe.  Here is another picture, but this one is pretty terrible also:

I like those too. They don't have the ones I was looking for, though.

I can't seem to be able to edit my original post so here is the update:

I ordered on Monday, and when Friday came with no receipt of shipment, I contacted the website via email.  I was told that the shipping person had been on jury duty(!), but my shoes would ship out that day.  In my reply email I suggested that for future problems, it would be nice to receive a notice, or have your shipping upgraded or waived.

The shoes came yesterday, and of course they are too small  You have to pay to ship them back, then they will do an exchange.  At this point I'm trying to decide if I love the shoes enough to deal with any more problems.  The color is a warm robin egg blue with some mottling/distressing to them.  They have a vintage feel to them, which I like.

that's a bummer.  what's the incentive to order from their website when they have such a shoody return policy (and there's only ONE person who ships the items?!)

Hmmm, do you think you'd be able to make what you paid retail for them on Ebay since they're kind of hard to get ahold of?

i got mine yesterday too - i ordered my regular size and they were too wide, but the perfect length, so i figured a size down would make my toes stick out the bottom. i loved the color, but i was kind of annoyed with the black smudges on them - i know they are supposed to look "vintage" but it kind of looked like a shoddy aging job. so i sent mine back this morning. it's disappointing! actually now that i think of it, i should have sold them on ebay instead! you girls are so smart. :)

Ah, I'm glad you posted that info.  I ordered a half size down, and indeed my toes want hang out.  I had a feeling the right size would be too big.
