I am so guilty of this too - but only with a few things. My kitties are addicted to ham ( i split one piece amongst the three of them) ! and it has to be a certain kind of ham too, not just any brand. for real, they will leave it if it's not the "right" kind so I buy it just for them - I'm SUCH a sucker. And my big cat likes weird stuff like tomatoes. I gave them to him once just to show him it was something gross & he totally loves it now. Other than that, they only get their real kitty food & occassional wet food as a treat.

I do give my gerbils Cherrios - one of them will come take it out of my hand - i think it's adorable!

i feed my cats wet food. they like pet gold from petco. i swear it's the best cat food ever!! definitely try some and your cat will love you.

sometimes i let my noodle have milk from my cereal bowl. my old cat dot used to love ice cream especially cherry vanilla. sometimes i'll give my cats tuna water if i have canned tuna and drain the liquid.
