one of the attorneys brings donuts every Friday and he just sent out an email that "they are here now". I have this really yummy-looking banana in front of me, but I really want a donut (or 3). Seriously, who gets "full" on one donut. They are just empty calories and not worth it, right? I should really just eat my banana and avoid that side of the office for the rest of the day, but I REALLY want a donut (it's that time of the month for me this week too). damn him. he's a really nice guy, but damn him anyway. I'm trying to be good here, as I just realized last night while playing in my closet, that I've put on a few lbs. over the holidays. It's been so long since I've had my fave kind though -- blueberry cake. yum yum

Can you eat just half a doughnut and then your banana? If you eat just half you might curb your craving but you're still getting some "good" calories with the banana. I just had half a doughnut myself, it's my Friday treat.
I don't think it will hurt you to eat one. You are tiny!! Just eat it slowly and it should satisfy you. Plus, if it's that time of the month, I'd give yourself a break. Ppl bring donuts here sometimes too and I give in occasionally. Although I eat them so seldom that when I do I get a stomach ache! Seriously though, you shouldn't deprive yourself too much IMO.
Thanks, girls, for the support. :) I ended up having an english muffin AND my banana. alb -- you are too sweet, but you have't seen me in a few years. I might indulge later on today, but I'm good for now.

Nothing wrong with eating only one doughnut. I never eat more than one in a single day though or I will feel like a pig. My favorite are the bismarks (that don't skimp on the pudding), yum!
