STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

So, I have this suit that I love, and it fits me really well... except in one place. I am very long-waisted, so it's a little tight in the crotch. Not like obscene or anything (would never go there!) but not as comfortably as some of my other pants.

So... does anyone know if you can have a tailor take down the crotch of pants a little without altering anything else, or is it way too much of a pain to even think about? Thanks for your help!!!
