What name brand of gas do you use in your car? I have a few:



  • Shell

  • Texaco

  • Diamond Shamrock

  • Phillips 66

  • and sometimes 7-11, but NOT that often

And you?

I guess I didn't realize that people purposefully picked the brand of gas they put in their cars ... !


We go to Costco because they're always the cheapest by at least 0.03, usually more.  If we aren't close to Costco, we go wherever we see that's the cheapest.

I buy usually from 7-11. The guy that works there will tell me if he knows that the prices will be going down in the near future.

Yeah, I heard that prices are 'suppose' to be going back down as well, like to $1.88, but I'll believe it when it happens! LOL

I don't seek out brands when it comes to gas, just the price.


The ONLY places I refuse to buy from is Exxon, I have boycotted them since the whole Valdez incident and now Mobil's too, since they are in league with Exxon. Also Exxon/Mobil showed the highest profits again over all the oil/petroleum companies.

I'm not brand loyal to gas companies.  I choose based on price.  and I have to use premium fuel in my car which is HIGH cost!  eek!


The only company I don't buy from is BP because the guys at the BMW shop told me never ever to use their gas in any BMW cars.  so I don't.

Most of the time I get gas at Exxon. When my dad puts gas he uses Chevron. Sometimes we Texaco & once in a while Shell.


I'm such a dork I never look @ prices when I pump gas. I just fill her up.
